Another invasion of Fort Duffield

Units come from everywhere. This group of the 2nd Mission Command Training Detachment (MCTD), 2nd Brigade (BDE), 86th Training Division (TD), 84th Training Command (TC) came out on MFD. Come on! Acronyms! It is "MANDATORY FUN DAY!" This group is from Ft Benjamin Harrison, IN. Bruce Fortin and Vestal Rogers fed them with a lot of history of Fort Duffield, WestPoint and much more!

Volunteers came out to help BEAUTIFY our cities pride and joy- FORT DUFFIELD on this Earth Day/Park Day

As usual Sissy Masterson coordinated the food and refreshments for everyone. Volunteers included the Frost, Masterson, Flaherty, McCreary families, Janice, Bruce, Mike, Daniele, John, Kelly, Jim. We also put in 4 more memorial bricks: 1: William Murphy 2: Ed and Roszelle Moore 3: Dylan and Ashton Tate 4: Bill and Janet Rowe.

Career Councelors came out for Non Commissioned Officers Professional Developement training today. Had you asked the Soldiers back then if they wanted to see a career counselor they probably would have shot you. But, we had a rather large group of 25 Soldiers from Fort Knox come out and discover the importance Fort Duffield.

Come out and support us to preserve our Civil War Earth works Fort. Proceeds go to the upkeep and preservation of KY Largest Civil War Earthworks.
